Bible Study

Whether you are a beginning student of the Bible or well into your Christian journey, our adult Bible studies have just what you are looking for.  Classes for individuals or couples, college students or young professionals, all the way to classes for our retired adults are provided for all life stages.  Discover a class which is best for you. Small Groups

Connecting in life with other individuals who care about you creates healthy opportunities for sharing ministry, relationships and spiritual growth.  Groups meet at various times to nurture one another in their faith experiences and friendships.  Topic of study and interests will differ in each group.  Contact the Adult Ministry office at 896-8882 to learn more about joining or leading a small group.

Senior Adult Ministry

Senior Adult Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, friendships, day or overnight trips, programs, volunteer options and learning workshops.  Whether retirement is a new experience for you or you are well into your retirement years, there are a wide range of retirement activities and ministry provided for the SMBC community.

Faith Partners in Health Ministry

More than 100 medical chaplains, counselors, dentists, doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and other professionals have identified their interest and willingness to improve the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of individuals in the SMBC community.  Health fairs, blood drives, workshops, local and state mission projects, and mission trips to other countries are just a few ways in which this group serves.  For information on how to become involved, call the Adult Ministry office at 896-8882 for more details.  

Men’s Ministry

Men of multiple generations find a common interest to connect in spiritual relationships, ministry projects, and learning opportunities.  More that one hundred men gather for spectacular breakfasts and enrichment once a quarter, weekly lunch on Thursdays at Clifton’s Pizza for fellowship and prayer, Promise Keepers, small group experiences and ministry and mission projects in our community.  Learn more about Men’s Ministry by calling the Adult Ministry office at 896-8882.
