The Weed Patch:
This group with a gardening theme meets at varying times, often in different gardens. It encourages unchurched neighbors to join in the “garden talk”. For more information contact Bonnie and Richard Fellows (245-1605).
Stones and Mortar:
A group shares a passion for the ministry of the Missionary House. Receive email (or printed) updates and prayer requests from former and future residents of our home at 3700 Nanz Ave. To sign up call Mary Ann Wise (893-7153) or email maryannwise@insightbb.com with “Mission house” on the subject line.
God’s Design:
Housewares and furnishings are collected and refurbished to provide a sense of “home” for families in need. Coordinators are Gerry and Jim Harrah (458-5163).
International Campus Ministry:
Ministry to graduate students at the U of L Speed School involves Bible Study, lunch and friendship as well as summer golf lessons. Leaders Seyoung and Euisoon Kang (435-8068) gladly welcome your help in serving and greeting.
International Welcome Ministry:
WMU is an encouraging supporter of the efforts of a new ministry that engages in conversational English, eases cultural transitions and introduces relationships. Conversational partners and group sessions meet in Fellowship Hall on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30. Call Susan Boyer for information (896-8882).
Faith Partners in Health Ministry:
This group develops and implements opportunities to engage in health ministries (physical, emotional and spiritual). They facilitate ministries to the community of SMBC, to Kentucky and, through international mission trips, to the world.
