Rehab Care

Those members who are in rehab facilities will be visited by ministers, deacons and church members. To request a visit, contact the Senior Pastor’s Administrative Assistant in the church office.

HUGG Ministry

In-home ministry to those unable to attend church regularly, the HUGG Ministry is a pastoral care ministry of St. Matthews Baptist Church. The HUGG Ministry began in 1983 as a way of caring for those in our congregation who are less mobile and therefore unable to attend church services regularly. It is the kind of ministry which is often called “homebound ministry,” but we prefer to designate persons who are physically limited as “HUGG Friends.”
If you wish to be a “HUGGer” or know of someone who needs to be “HUGGed,” please contact the Senior Pastor’s Administrative Assistant in the church office.

Counseling

Pre-marital Counseling is available through our partnership with the St. Matthews Pastoral Counseling Center. Many of the Ministers will handle their own counseling if they are the officiant.

Marriage Counseling is available through our partnership with the St. Matthews Pastoral Counseling Center. Referrals are often after an initial meeting with one of the minister.
